The heroes pictured here already finished yesterday evening under loud applause, meanwhile a very big shout-out to @tommeke_watdoetgenu our lanterne rouge who will be battling the time limit today, hoping to come in during the finish party.

Day 6 flew by like no other!

We observed tired faces, some final mechanical problems and a LOT of cheering at the finish, where previous finishers were welcoming new friends made on the road back home ♥️.

In 12 hours from now the finish party will be well on the way and we’ll have a crowd ready for our final finishers 🎉! Hope you’re ready for a BIG BANG! 💣

More and more riders are hitting the final gravel sector. Realizing that most of the hard work is done and soon they’ll have great stories to tell from past week’s adventure 💪!

6 more finishers made it back after midnight, each with incredible stories to tell 🤩.

For many others, today brings the highly anticipated final stretch 🏁

We rode alongside some riders leaving CP4 this morning, with only 130km to go to the finish line. Tired but nevertheless in good spirits, they showed us the beauty that ultra brings on day 6.

By the end of day 5, we expect about 50 riders to have finished the Race Around Rwanda 2025 🥳!

Alongside celebrations, today also brought scratches. As expected, it was one of many highs 🔋 and some lows 🪫 , equally represented by blistering morning sun to heavy rain showers 🌧️.

We’re incredibly proud of our participants pushing through and are excited to welcome more of the field tomorrow 🤩.

It’s not far now..

More than 30 participants have made it to the finish line. We managed to catch up with some riders around lunchtime at CP4. Some were just leaving and looked rather deflated 🪫. Others just arrived and looked like they had some gas left in their tanks 🔋.

The heavy load of the days are starting to weigh heavy on the riders shoulders. More scratches are coming in..

Come on riders! You haven’t come this far to not reward yourself with that finish line feeling 💪.
